Buhari Visited By Lai Mohammed, Abike Dabiri And Other Aides

President Buhari received members of the presidential team at the Abuja House In London where the president has been on medical vacation since May 7, 2017.

During the visit, the President sent his greetings to Nigerians informing them that he would soon be home from London.
The president said this when he received a delegation from his government led by Lai Mohammed, the information and culture minister. The others on the delegation include Femi Adesina, Garba Shehu, Lauretta Onochie and Abike Dabiri.

The president however said his return to Nigeria is dependent on his doctors in London.

In a statement by his Femi Adesina, Buhari confirmed that his health had tremendously improved and wished to return to Nigeria. “I have learnt to obey my doctor’s orders rather than be the one issuing the orders. Here, the doctor is absolutely in charge.

“I feel I could go home, but the doctors are in charge. I have now learnt to obey orders, rather than be obeyed,” the president reportedly said.

Buhari said he was following events in Nigeria and understands that there are protests against his continued stay in London.

“I thank all those who are praying. May God reward them,” the president.
