Nnamdi Kanu Totally Rejects Osinbajo Ministerial Appointment?

It was alleged that Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo, is considering offering a Ministerial appointment to Biafra Leader, Nnamdi Kanu, as a ploy to dump the agitation for Biafra.

Owelafrik.com, has not been able to independently confirm the authenticity of the report, as all efforts made to confirm the news from the Presidency, proved abortive.

However, our respected source from the South-West, revealed that Osinbajo has been making frantic efforts behind the scene, to ensure that no part of the country secedes under his watch as Acting president.

“There are plans to lobby Nnamdi Kanu to accept a Ministerial post, in exchange for Biafra. The Acting President can not allow these guys to tear Nigeria apart. The Biafra agitation is seriously having a ripple effect, as a group have also started championing for Oduduwa Republic.”’

He added: “Efforts are secretly been made to reach out to Nnamdi Kanu, with this shocking offer of a Ministerial position.”

Our source recalled, that the Biafra Zionist Federation’s, BZM, in Enugu, declaration of the ‘Republic of Biafra’ on Tuesday, had put the Presidency and security agencies on red alert.

“Nnamdi kanu has to be lobbied. As I Speak, none of the big names that was mentioned as Ministers, have rejected the offer”, the source said.

Post-Nigeria could recall also, that the BZM Leader, Benjamin Onwuka, declared himself the ‘Interim President’ of the new nation, at a Press briefing at the Enugu Secretariat of the Nigerian Union of Journalists.

He also named Ministers and other top government officials of Biafra.

Eminent Economist, Prof. Pat Utomi, was named the Foreign Minister, while a former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, was appointed as the Governor of the Central Bank of Biafra.

In the same vein, a former boss of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Ms. Arunma Oteh, has been named the Finance Minister.

Another former Information Minister and former Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, Labaran Maku, has been named as the Minister of Aviation.

Other key appointments, as announced by Onwuka, include: Amarachi Ubani, Information; Mrs. Mary Okafor, Trade and Industry; Benny Lar, from Plateau State, Secretary to the Government of the Republic of Biafra; Gabriel Oluwole Osagie, Education; and Philip Effiong Jnr., Health among others
